A new highlight in the Fuschlseebad beach is this surf trend sport from America
After extensive rebuilding in 2008, the Seebad in Fuschl am See is one of the most modern and innovativ leisure and sport centres in the Province of Salzburg. You do not have to search far, for here is everything the bathing guest and hobby sportsman could wish for. The heated outdoor pool with wellness whirlpool area and entrance from the changing rooms, as well as a generous sauna and fitness area which defies all weathers. Water rats can still enjoy the months of May and June despite lake temperatures – which are now well over 20°C!
Unique in Austria is the indoor lounge area with UV filter windows and panorama view over one of the loveliest natural bathing lakes of the Salzkammergut. Here sun worshipers are sure to find their individual place, either direct on the lakeside shore, under a shady tree or simply on the well cared for lawns.
Completely new this season are the Stand Up Paddles - a new sport trend from Hollywood. One stands upright on a surf board and moves forward by means of a long paddle oar. For just €7.- per ½ hr you can try out this unique sport equipment.
For those seeking activity there are many other attractive sport possibilities: Aqua gymnastics, aqua jogging, Qi Gong, Yoga, Pilates, Latino Aerobic, Nordic Walking, gymnastics for the spine or for example the Core Training.
There is also a great programme for children from the giant water slide to games and fun offers such as swimming and diving courses, tennis for children, childrens volley ball or individual craft training for kids.
