After the springtime when the cattle are driven up to the higher mountain pastures and the
work on the mountain is routine, the alpine farmers are pleased to share the pleasures of alpine life with hikers. Almost 20 hospitable mountain huts show the authentic way of life of the alpine farmers. The breathtaking panorama of our mountains merge together to give one unforgettable impressions.

After a hike of about 45 minutes fromthe Lämmerbach car park you finally reach the extremely comfortable Mayrlehen hut on the Gruberalm.
