Try the new outdoor sport Canyoning in the Strubklamm between Ebenau and Faistenau, which will be discoverd in different ways.
What is Canyoning?
You will follow the natural way of the Strubklamm, go down narrow slides, jump into cold tarn, take ropes and carabiner if anyone leaves the courage. Together we dive, offside from paths and trails, into worlds of fascinating natural beatuy.
Equipment:
We have an absolute top equipment. Our guests get a wet suit. This allows even at cold temperatures, to make the tours.
Furthermore you get: neopren sox, helmet for climbing, canyoning band with carabiner, neopren gloves.
Is Canyoning dangerous?
The risk of Canyoning is high, but it can be reduced by a good tour planning, a good equipment and well trained guides. For example, if the weather is bad or the water of the Strubklamm is to hight, there will be an alternative date because for reasons of safety.
How many condition or know-how is necessary?
The speed of the tour decides the leader of the Canyoning tour - according to the physical constitution of the group. The tourist will be saved if it's necessary. That means, it is not important to have alpine experiences. You should have some fitness and skill. But you should be a godd swimmer!
