The Pertill Mill is one of 7 mills along the Mill
hiking trail (6 km) which begins by the Waschl Mill and continues to the Natural Monument Plötz which is also a place of happiness.
The double mill has two separate milling wheels and
was built between the 16th & 17th century. It was
in function until 1967.
The water right was shared by the two owners and was sufficient at any one time for one of the works. Rye, wheat and barley came from the farms own fields.
It was also possible to sleep in the mill. (Owners: A & S Karl – Unterpertill, E & M Brunnauer – Oberpetrill)
