On 23rd June 2012 Austria`s biggest extreme running event takes place in Salzburg and Lake Fuschl.

In June 2012 a special challenge awaits all enthusastic runners in the Salzkammergut: a route of 100 kilometres and 2,500 m altitude difference between the City of Salzburg and the region around Lake Fuschl.


Initially this is a running event for ambitious runners in Austria who are on the search for the next challenge beyond a marathon.


Mozart 100 should also be a run for the public. Here is the possibility of a stretch of 54 kilometres or a relay of runners who cover between 8 and 30 kilometres each.

The route of the Extreme Run Mozart 100 in Salzburg and at Lake Fuschl

The run starts at 5 a.m. from the Mozart Square in Salzburg. Along the Salzach river to Elsbethen and further through the Glasenbach Gorge, via Koppl and Hinterschroffenau to Hof by Salzburg. A highlight of the trail is the Fuschlsee which is to be rounded. The return run is via the Hundsmarktmühle, Hof by Salzburg, Ladau and Unterkoppl and the last stretch through the Guggenthal. Via Gnigl and the Schallmooser Hauptstraße one returns to the Old City of Salzburg.

Registration
This is to be carried out “online” through the registration site of the organisers. When you register online, acceptance of the liability clause and the participation rules must be marked. The right of a start number will be effected after valid payment has been made to the organisers account as far as start capacity is available. The list of participants can be seen on the web site of the organiser.

The participation is an utmost personal right and each participator must personally collect his start papers. When collecting the start number, each participator must also sign the terms of agreement. Click here for registration Mozart 100
