Snowtubing in Faistenau
Up the slope via a new drag lift then slide down 170 metres in one of the snow channels.
Just a few minutes from the centre of Faistenau is the snow tubing run.
Approx. 50 tyres or tubes are waiting for you.
And when it gets too cold outside, fall in to Asi’s Tubing Hut for warm refreshments and a cosy get-together.
For night owls the run is floodlit. Reservations are possible – Fridays and Saturdays until 9 p.m.
Toboggaining party from the Schafbachalm
Something to be experienced. A toboggan party from the Schafbachalm. Firstly by torchlight to the Alm. Here you can savour a tasty snack and then toboggan down to the valley.
The Schafbachalm is the home of the Kurz family all the year round and lies at 1038m. above sea level between Faistenau and Tiefbrunnau.
In winter you can walk to the Alm where for a small fee you can hire a toboggan and sledge down to the valley.
A winter hike – ideal for body and soul! Children will be motivated to hike the fairy take path in a beautiful landscape. The winter hike is now also sign-posted as a snow shoe trek and is a popular route to the Schafbachalm.
Relax – enjoy – meet friends – celebrate in the fresh air or by the fire-side in the cosy parlour of the lodge.
A full menu card is offered with tasty snacks from the biological small-holding or when ordered in advance, cheese noodles, spare ribs, roast, turkey – duck – goose dishes, and trout from the owners fish pond. Also game and lamb specialities.

Deer Feeding in Hintersee
Experience nature at its best. From a sheltered tribune, guests can watch as the wild deer come down from the forest to the feeding mangers.
Previously hay was laid out for the deer but since 1960 raw food, hay and beet is fed daily. With a nutritious diet the deer can survive better during heavy snow periods.

Winterworld on the WaldhofAlm
Just 15 minutes walk from Ebner´s Waldhof is the venue for tobogganing, snow tubing, ice stick curling or the children´s 60 m. magic carpet ski lift.

Up until 10 p.m. you have the opportunity to enjoy the floodlit toboggan run.
ICE STICK CURLING
“3 – 6 – Out!” The enjoyable curling competitions on the frozen Alm pond are great gun
for all.
SNOW TUBING
Save your energy for the great run down. Here you are pulled up the slope in your giant
tyre before racing down the tube.
MAGIC CARPET
The name speaks for itself. This magic carpet is ideal for all ages whatever the sport art. Comfortably you are drawn up to the snowy slope opposite the WaldhofAlm.
WALDHOFALM
Around the cosy fireplace parents are spoilt with warm tasty dishes from Peter the host, whilst the children have fun outside in the snow.
